Dr. Terry L. Mize

Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.  Proverbs 31:8-9

These two scriptures are the essence of what makes Dr. Terry L. Mize tick; the reasons he does all that he does for the King and His Kingdom. Over 37 years ago, Brother Terry left high school during his senior year to move to Panama and minister to a primitive tribe. After he and his wife Jackie were married in 1969, they moved to Mexico for several years as missionaries, until they realized that to touch as many lives as they desired to they had to move back to the U.S. and begin to travel to many nations. Now, Terry Mize Ministries is heavily involved all over the world. Some current areas of focus are Romania, Ukraine, India, Zimbabwe, Thailand, Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica, and Terry's 'first love,' Mexico. When Brother Terry was beginning his ministry he knew in his spirit that he was supposed to minister to ministers around the world. Eventhough he knew this was a commission for the future, he began working towards it even then. He has incorporated this into his ministry today by holding large Pastor's conferences in foreign countries, ministering up to six times per day to senior pastors and holding evangelistic meetings at night. After almost 40 years of missions ministry this method has proven to be the best 'bang for your missionary dollar' by teaching the national pastors by precept in the day and then training them by example at night with crusades hosting massive crowds with evidence of healings and miracles. This way the national pastors are taught the Word in intensive sessions and then they take this knowledge and evangelize their nation, thus getting the Gospel to the world that cost the blood of Jesus, and fulfilling the Great Commission.

In a recent ceremony conducted at Faith Fellowship Family Church pastored by Dr. James Jones, pictured left, Terry Mize was presented with an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Kingsway Christian College. He was presented this by University president, Dr. David Brown, pictured right. We wish Dr. Mize our congratulations on this great honor!
